Tax return
For many people completing their self assessment tax return is rarely a fun experience. However there are ways of making it more rewarding. As you may know when you complete the form you can nominate a charity to benefit from all, or part, of any tax refund due to you. And you can Gift Aid that contribution as well.
War Memorials Trust is now one of the charity’s that you could select to receive such a contribution. All you have to do is complete the form SA100 Charity - Giving your tax repayment to charity alongside your tax return. The charity you indicate then receives your donation directly into its bank account.
So, if you are due a refund you can contribute some of that towards protecting and conserving war memorial heritage. Meaning that all that time spent completing the forms and details has not only helped you but your charity as well.
If you would like to support War Memorials Trust in this way the Trust’s unique code is JAK92WG. This should be entered as required on the SA100 form where the Gift Aid details are also provided.
