Annual Appeal

As the nation marks the 40th anniversary of the Falklands Conflict in 2022, War Memorials Trust is asking its supporters to help raise £40,000. This appeal will support our shared efforts to protect and conserve the UK's 100,000 war memorials.

In 2022, the Trust also marks its own 25th anniversary. Donations to this appeal will help sustain the vital work started in 1997. The charity is a focal point for war memorial issues. To enable us to continue to assist the custodians, communities and individuals who care for our war memorials, we need your help.

One project the Trust has helped recently is Holt war memorial, near Wrexham in Wales. Further details and pictures can be found on War Memorials Online. One of the dedications on the memorial pledges, rather unusually, to ensure ‘their fame liveth for evermore’, as opposed to their names.
