In Memoriam funeral donations

In Memoriam gifts are donations collected in lieu of flowers at a funeral. They are sometimes known as Final Tributes. Anyone wishing to pay their respects to the deceased is asked to make a donation to a chosen charity rather than sending or bringing flowers.

In Memoriam gifts are a very special way to give support to a charity that was close to the deceased's heart. It may be their choice left in instructions for their funeral or be a family decision.

War Memorials Trust would like to thank the families and friends of those whose passing has been marked in this way. The charity can recognise the person being remembered by adding their name to a page of remembrance in honour of those whose passing has been marked by In Memoriam gifts to the charity.

If families wish War Memorials Trust to be the beneficiary of In Memoriam gifts then the charity would be extremely grateful. All contributions will make a significant difference to our work.

In Memoriam gifts can be discussed with Funeral Directors who are experienced in making appropriate arrangements.

Making In Memoriam gifts to War Memorials Trust

If you choose to support War Memorials Trust with an In Memoriam gift then all donations should be forwarded, by the Funeral Directors or family depending on arrangements, to War Memorials Trust see Contact us.

The name of the person in whose memory the gifts have been made should be given alongside the contact details of the family so the Trust can acknowledge the gift.

Please advis us if you wish the name of the deceased to be added to our Those remembered page.
