Condition survey
The physical condition of war memorials varies greatly. If you have a concern over the condition of a memorial and would like to bring this to our attention, or request advice, then the best approach is to provide details via War Memorials Online. War Memorials Online is a website designed to create a greater understanding of the condition of war memorials and enables you to submit condition updates and concerns directly to War Memorials Trust.
If you are unable to use War Memorials Online then there are alternative methods of submitting condition information below. Please note though that it will take longer for us to respond to emails or letters because we will have to process and record the information rather than you entering it directly onto our systems.
If you wish to submit a condition survey please ensure you complete it as fully as possible and return to us with relevant photographs. Before doing this you may find it useful to view our helpsheets which cover a number of common war memorial issues.
To report a concern via a form or email:
- Open the helpsheet, complete electronically, save and return by email
- Download the helpsheet, print out, complete by hand and return by post
- Email us with your concern at conservation@warmemorials.org
