2014-19 Grants for War Memorials

During the centenary of World War I Cadw's Grants for War Memorials scheme provided specific funding for war memorials. It offered grants up to £10,000 up to a maximum 70% if eligible costs. Some projects, when total cost was more than £1,000, were eligible for a partnership with War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme whereby the charity 'topped-up' the Cadw contribution with a further 15%. In exceptional cases, War Memorials Trust gave larger grants as part of the First World War Memorials Programme.
