Boothtown Methodist Church on Boothtown Road in Halifax houses memorials moved into the church from Akroydon Methodist Church in 1965. A communion table was chosen to remember the First World War fallen (WM3886). The Second World War fallen from the congregation are remembered on a plaque (WM3887). Alongside these is a brass war memorial plaque remembering members of Boothtown Methodist Church and its Sunday school who fell in both World Wars (WM1521).
In 2005, War Memorials Trust gave £40 towards works to all three plaques. The Boothtown memorial and the Akroydon memorial plaque for World War II were remounted whilst the World War I Akroydon memorial communion table had casters added.
Following the work on the memorials they were placed on display in a small chapel area of the church.
