Boothtown Methodist Church war memorial © Boothtown Methodist Church, 2005Boothtown Methodist Church on Boothtown Road in Halifax has a brass war memorial plaque remembering members of the church and Sunday school who fell in both World Wars (WM1521). Alongside this are memorials moved into the Church from Akroydon Methodist Church in 1965 remembering the First World War (WM3886) and Second World War (WM3887) fallen from their congregation.

In 2005, War Memorials Trust gave £40 towards works to all three plaques. The Boothtown memorial and the Akroydon memorial plaque for World War II were remounted whilst the World War I Akroydon memorial communion table had casters added.

Following the work on the memorials they were placed on display in a small chapel area of the church.
