This war memorial is a stained glass window depicting local men who returned alive from World War I. Their faces were painted from photographs.
The window is located in St John the Baptist Church in Hellidon, Northamptonshire.
War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £862 to repair the external stone mullions; treat the rust on the saddle bars and re-paint them; clean the stone work and re-fix the stoneguards.
The window was unveiled in 1920 by General Vaughan. It is one of a pair, the other depicting local men who died(WM3338). They are the only known war memorials of this type.
