This war memorial is a stained glass window depicting local men who lost their lives in World War I as medieval knights. Their faces were painted from photographs.
The window is located in St John the Baptist Church in Hellidon, Northamptonshire.
War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £739 to repair the external stone mullions; treat the rust on the saddle bars and re-paint them; clean the stone work and re-fix the stoneguards.
The window was dedicated in 1920 and is part of a pair of windows. The other window (WM3364) marks the safe return of local men from the war. The pair of windows are considered unique as no others are known to exist.
