Two plaques from Great Bowden Congregational Chapel record the fallen of the Parish from the First and Second World Wars. This record deals with the Second World War memorial made of Alabaster. Details of the First World War plaque are under record WM1538. In 2005 a project to redevelop the Great Bowden war memorial hall included moving the memorials into the new Committee Room following their removal from the Chapel when it was sold in 2003.
War Memorials Trust gave £125 towards conservation work on the plaque which included some minor repairs and re-lettering, cleaning and installation in their new location.
The Second World War tablet was erected in 1946 and reads:
