This memorial organ is located in Holy Trinity Church, Little Bollington. On the organ is a brass plaque which is dedicated to the men of Little Bollington who fought in World War I.
In 2013 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £2,500 towards repairs of the organ. This included cleaning the individual parts and repairs to the bellows and soundboards. The wind control was re-made and pedal chests were completely refurbished.
The worn out tracker action materials were replaced and the tonal pipes were repaired to sound their original tone. The organ was then lifted to a level footing to compensate for a dropped floor. The case work was re-fitted and polished, the pedal board was also polished and the missing parts from the corner frets were replaced. Finally, SmartWater was applied to the brass memorial plate and to the organ pipes.
The inscription on the brass plaque reads:
By this organ, the gift of Bollington Parishioners and their Friends,
It is hoped to blend the worship of Almighty God with a Grateful
Memorial of those gallant Men of this neighbourhood who fought
For the freedom of the world in the Great War 1914-1918
