This war memorial is a white marble wheel cross with sloping square plinth and three stepped base. Inscriptions are cut in relief onto the plinth and steps. The memorial is surrounded by concrete paving with steps leading up to it.
The memorial is located on London Road, Barley, Hertfordshire.
War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £485 towards the re-building of the steps which had severely decayed brickwork due to bad drainage from the paving above. The concrete paving slabs were replaced with gravel to improve the situation.
The memorial is thought to have been built in 1919.
