Holy Trinity Dorchester war memorial © C Moreton 2009 The war memorial tablet at the Holy Trinity Catholic church, High West Street, in the county town of Dorchester in Dorset is fixed to the south wall of Holy Trinity church. It is a tablet of Portland stone listing the names of the fallen of World War I beneath a dedication.

In August 2000 War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £150 towards work to clean the memorial and recut the eroded lettering. The damage had mainly been due to erosion from traffic fumes.

The dedication on the memorial reads

To the glory of God
and in proud memory of these
members of our church & parish
who died for us in the Great War

The memorial tablet was dedicated on Sunday 24th October 1920, at which time Holy Trinity was a Church of England church.
