Stubbington war memorial © A. Cawsey, 2009Stubbington's war memorial shelter comprises a wooden roof and posts. In each corner of the shelter is a seat. A stone drinking fountain is in the centre of the shelter. The shelter stands on the village green.

In 2000, a conservation project received a grant of £150 towards renovation works including repairing the woodwork and retiling the roof.

The memorial was built in 1922.

The inscription on the drinking fountain reads:

"Lest we forget, our glorious dead 1914-1919. Faithful unto death"

The names of the fallen are incised into the wooden lintols at the top of the walls.
