Stamford war memorial is located on the side of All Saints Church. The First World war memorial shrine is constructed of timber. The figure of Christ is located in the canopy above the main frame which contains the names of those commemorated in gold lettering.
In 2002, an award of £200 from the Small Grants Scheme supported re-lettering works. These were undertaken as part of a comprehensive restoration programme for the Churchyard.
The memorial was erected circa 1919. It is believed to have been a personal project of the then Rector.
The inscription reads:
"Greater love hath no man than this
To the glory of God
and to the memory of those from this
parish who have laid down their lives
for King and country
