Barrow Gurney war memorial © R Jackson 2009Barrow Gurney war memorials stands on Barrow Street in the village. The stone Calvary cross is located in a small walled garden close to the village hall.

In 2004 a grant of £250 was made to assist a hardlandscaping project on the perimeter wall of the war memorial. The wall was repaired with lime mortar used.

The memorial records the Fallen of both the First and Second World Wars. The inscription on the memorial reads:

Christ died for all Men
These for their Country
