The Grade II Listed South Lopham war memorial is located at a road junction within South Lopham. It sits on a an area which is gravelled and is surrounded by low stone pillar and chain fence. The memorial is in the form of cross sat on a rectangular plinth.

In 2020 a grant of £650 was offered through the Grants for War Memorials scheme to clean the memorial by hand using water and soft bristle brushes, repointing in lime mortar and the re-enamelling of the lettering and decorative stone flags. 

The memorial was created by Messrs J Cooley and Son of Diss and was unveiled on 2nd October 1921.
