Collyhurst war memorial is located on Rochdale Road, Harpurhey. It is in the form of a wheel cross set on a tall two stepped base constructed from sandstone. It sits within an enclosed area surrounded by metal railings.

In 2020, a grant of £990 was offered through the War Memorials Trust Grant Scheme for works to clean and repoint the memorial and re-enamel the inscriptions where possible. The memorial has undergone previous inappropriate repairs which have resulted in damage to the historic stone. These include the use of cement mortar for pointing and the introduction of non compatible harder stone. It is for these reasons that the Trust promotes the use of traditional materials and undertaking works in line with conservation best practice.

The memorial was unveiled on 25th May 1923.
