Dethick, Lea and Holloway war memorial is a stone obelisk on an arrangement of plinths and pedestals with bronze plaques on three sides. It is around 4m tall and constructed of cut stone sections with fine mortared joints. It is located in the Memorial Gardens, Holloway.

In 2019 a grant of £80 was offered through the War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme towards a structural survey and report with recommendations to inform necessary conservation and repair works which was undertaken by a conservation-accredited professional. The report concluded that the memorial was stable and in Good condition but made recommendations regarding maintenance.

The memorial was unveiled and dedicated on 8th October 1922. The Bishop of Derby performed the dedication and the Duke of Devonshire performed the unveiling.

The inscription on the Dethick, Lea and Holloway memorial reads:
Bear in mind the men from/ Dethick, Lea and Holloway/ who fought and died in the/ Great War 1914-1918 / (names) "O Lord support us all the/ day long of this troublous life/ until the shades lengthen/ and the evening come and/ the busy world is hushed,/ the fever of life is over and/ our work done."/ "then lord in thy mercy/ grant us safe lodging, a holy/ rest and peace at the last/ through Jesus Christ/ our Lord. Amen." Let us never forget/ the men of the Parish of/ Dethick, Lea & Holloway/ who died on active service/ for their country in/ the Second World War/ 1939 1945 / (names)
