Warlingham war memorial is a sculpture of a serviceman with a woman and child at his feet. They are atop a square plinth with a three-stepped base. The memorial stands in the a small park on Limspfield Road, Warlingham in Surrey. It commemorates the fallen of both World Wars and is Grade II listed.
In 2018, the War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme, supported by the First World War Memorials Programme, made an offer of £1,7.30 to support repair and conservation works. This included stone indent repairs as well as a repair to the rifle, re-pointing with lime mortar, hand cleaning with water and natural bristle brushes alongwith selective deepening and sharpening of the World War I lettering.
The memorial was designed by J E Taylerson and is entitled "Shielding the Defenceless". It was unveiled on 4 December 1921. A tablet was added in 1945 to commemorate those who feel in World War II with another added in 1950 for post-1945 casualties. The latter tablets did not carry names.
