St Andrews Church war memorial is in the form of a copper plaque surrounded by an oak frame. It is located within St Andrews Erskine Church, Pilmuir Street, Dunfermline.

In 2018, a grant of £1,315 was awarded through the Centenary Memorials Restoration Fund. It supported repair and conservation works which included the cleaning, repatinating and waxing of the memorial plaque. The oak frame also required repair and refinishing. The memorial had been in storage for a number of years and exposed to damp conditions. This had led to some tarnishing of the plaque and damage to the wooden frame which needed to be addressed before the memorial was placed back on display.

SmartWater was also applied to the war memorial as part of the In Memoriam 2014 project seeking to deter the theft of metal from war memorials.

The inscription on the St Andrews memorial reads:

To the glory of God

1914 1919

in honour of the men and

women of this church who

served in the Great War

NAMES

x killed in action

Some names on the plaque are preceded by an x which denotes those killed in action.
