The Grade II listed St Thomas of Canterbury parish war memorial is located within the churchyard. It is part of a group of listed structures comprising the church and its boundary walls and gates. The memorial is in the form of a sandstone calvary cross with a hooded top on a three stepped base. The rear of the shaft has an image of the Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus.
In 2018 a grant offer of £12,140 was made through the Grants for War Memorials Scheme. The sandstone had deteriorated significantly over time with areas of delamination and losses, including to the Christ figure. The funding was provided towards sensitive selective repairs. The final grant award was for £8,900 due to a reduction in costs.
The memorial commemorates the fallen of the parish in both World Wars.
