Tintinhull war memorial is a stone market cross. The top sits on a slim octagonal shaft and is carved with figures in niches. It is located in the churchyard of St Margaret of Antioch. The memorial is grade II listed and in Tintinhull conservation area.

In 2018, a grant of £1,380 was awarded through War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme. It supported repair and conservation works which included cleaning the memorial, re-pointing with lime mortar, re-painting inscriptions and indented stone repairs. The memorial cleaning was undertaken by hand using natural bristle brushes and water as this was felt sufficient to remove the deposits on the memorial so that the wider works could be undertaken.

The memorial was the design of Sir Ninian Comper and it was dedicated on 29th January 1921 by the Dean of Wells.

The inscription on the memorial sits in a carved wreath and reads:

“Remember
the men of
Tintinhull
who
gave their lives
in the Great War
1914-1919”
