Alsagers Bank war memorial is located near to St John’s Church, Main Road, Alsagers Bank, Staffordshire. This memorial is a square obelisk of Hollington and Stancliffe sandstone on a three stepped base, surrounded by stone balustrade posts linked by chains. There is a stone carved wreath near the top. Incised inscriptions painted black commemorate those who died in World War I and II.
In 2016 a grant of £2,450 was awarded through the War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme towards lime mortar pointing and repairs to the concrete base, stone balustrade posts and stone steps.
The memorial was unveiled on 22nd September 1924. It was designed and built by Mr W. H. Royals of Burslem.
