Condorrat war memorial hall is located on Main Road in Cumbernauld, Glasgow. The original masonry building dates to 1933 and its construction was funded by public donation. Extensions to the building were undertaken in the late 1970/early 1980s.
In 2016 a grant of £1,125 was offered through the Centenary Memorials Restoration Fund towards a detailed condition survey and report with recommendations for a programme of works which was undertaken by a conservation-accredited professional advisor. Despite ad-hoc remedial repairs undertaken over the years the building was shown to be suffering from significant water ingress and fabric deterioration. It was felt that before embarking on further works a comprehensive review of the building - identifying priorities - would help the production of a clear plan which could generate an additional funding application for the war memorial elements of the building.
