Stickford war memorial is located at the junction of Fen Road and Cole Lane in Stickford in Boston, Lincolnshire. It takes the form of a freestanding clock tower made of buff sandstone from Stoke Hall Quarries in Derbyshire and stands on a pedestal and base. There are two limestone plaques on the front of the memorial with gilded, incised lettering commemorating those who died in World War I and II. It is a Grade II listed structure.
In 2015, a grant of £5,530 was awarded through the War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme towards a range of repair and conservation works. One contractor undertook the clock tower works. The stone was steam cleaned with construction joints re-pointed with lime mortar. Alongside this the legibility of the inscriptions was improved with re-gilding of the lettering using 24ct gold leaf. In addition, the chain link fencing was repainted, the World War II plaque re-fixed and the door of the clock tower repainted. Another contractor conserved the actual clock movement; undertaking repair works to ensure the clock continues to function as an ever present memorial marking the passing of time.
The clock tower was designed and built Mr G. H. Bunney of Sheffield. It was unveiled in 1923 by Col G. B. Walker.
