Combpyne-Rousdon war memorial column after addition of name © Combdyne-Rousdon Parish Council, 2007The Combpyne-Rousdon war memorial  is a square column topped with an ornamental carving. The town names Seaton, Sidmouth, Combpyne, Axminster, Lyme Regis, Bridport are carved on each of the four sides of the column.

In 2007 the Parish Council identified that a name was missing of a Parishioner who died in World War II. War Memorials Trust gave £60 towards the cost of the adding the name of R. F. Webber. This was doen to match the original design of the memorial.

The inscription reads:

Rousden

To the glory of God and in

this estate who fell in the Great War
1914 – 1918.

"Live thou for England: we for England died"
