Pitminster war memorial is located on Honiton Road, Blagdon Hill, Taunton, Somerset. This Ham Hill stone memorial has a cross on a shaft, on a base and plinth surrounded by a concrete post and iron railing fence. The inscription on the plinth commemorates those who died in World War I and World War II. The lettering is inscribed into the stone work. The memorial is located in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
In 2015 a grant of £2,410 was awarded through the War Memorials Trust Grant Scheme towards stone cleaning using wooden spatulas and steam to remove plant growth and dirt and make the inscriptions legible and repointing of joints in lime mortar where required.
The land for the memorial was donated by Mr A. Govier.
