The Saltaire war memorial is a Sandstone obelisk on a three stepped base. It is located within the churchyard of the Grade I listed Saltaire United Reformed Church. On the front face of the obelisk plinth is a dedication in raised lettering and immediately above tis a bronze plaque topped with cross and wreath detail. The bronze plaque has a dedication to the fallen of World War I followed by a list of names.
In 2014 a grant was awarded through the Grants for War Memorials scheme to clean the stone obelisk using the Doff steam clean system as there was a build-up of algae. To repoint the obelisk and address the condition of the bronze plaque. The plaque was also cleaned 
using Doff followed by its re-patination and the application of a protective micro-crystalline wax. A grant of £2,480 towards a total cost for the works of £3,310.
The funds for the memorial were raised by the Pastor and there is also a Roll of Honour within the church listing the fallen from the Church and school. The memorial was unveiled in 1920. It was designed by R G Phillips ARCA, Bradford and was built by Messers J and P Obank, Bradford.
