This war memorial consists of a Celtic cross atop of a tapering shaft and a three tiered base all constructed of granite. The memorial is surrounded by an octagonal enclosure formed by a ring of eight roughly hewn granite posts. The base of the memorial bears the names of local men who fell in the Great War and the names of those who fell in World War II. The letters are of lead and are fixed individually into the base. The war memorial is located in St Willow's Churchyard, Lanteglos-by-Fowey.Lanteglos war memorial © H Doe, 2013
