This war memorial consists of a plain wheel cross of limestone surmounting a lipped base and a two stepped plinth. The memorial is located on the High Street, Chinnor.
In 2013 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £707 towards conservation of the memorial which included cleaning of the memorial using a low pressure steam cleaning system, plastic repairs to fractured stone using a colour matched lime mortar, and re-pointing of the memorial joints using lime mortar.
The memorial was constructed circa 1928 with the names of the fallen of Worls War II from Chinnor being added at a later date. The memorial was funded through public subscription and fundraising events, including a dance held in the Reading Room of the Town Hall.
