Honing war memorial © W Cubitt, 2011This war memorial consists of a Clipsham stone Latin cross atop of a slim stone shaft, a square plinth and three stepped base. The memorial is located within St Peter and St Paul Churchyard in Honing, Norfolk and is dedicated to the men of the Parish who died whilst serving during World War I.

In 2012 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £627 towards the cleaning and re-pointing of the war memorial. The cleaning was carried out using a low pressure water cleaner and soft nylon bristle brushes. The joints were then re-pointed using a lime mortar mix and finally the memorial was cleaned using water and soft sponges.
