The war memorial in the fishing village of Weybourne on the north Norfolk coast is a limestone wheel cross on a slim tapering pillar on a plinth and a three-stepped pentagonal base. The wheel of the cross is a garland. There are Gothic inscriptions on the plinth and all three of the steps. The memorial stands outside the church of All Saints on the High Street.
The surface of the memorial was deteriorating as a result of exposure to the weather; the village of Weybourne is very close to the sea. In January 2003 English Heritage offered a grant of £215 towards work to clean out all the cracks in the plinth, to re-point and grout all the cracks in the vertical faces of the plinth and to rake out and re-point the joints between the steps.
The memorial is Grade II listed and was designed by F C Eden, who also designed WM1288 and WM439.
