This war memorial is a limestone obelisk with small cross on top. The elongated plinth has painted lead letters and is above a three step base.
The obelisk is located on the side of the B862 next to Loch Mhor, a small loch close to the town of Foyers, itself on the banks of Loch Ness.
War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £871 towards the re-painting of the inscriptions with black enamel paint.
Little is known about the origins of this war memorial apart from that it was likely to have been unveiled around 1920. It is dedicated to those from the areas of Stratherrick and Foyers who fell in World War I and World War II.
