Mereworth war memorial © Mereworth PC,  2009This war memorial is in the form of a rough stone with smooth face onto which names have been added. It is located in The Street, Mereworth, Kent.

War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £440 to clean the stone with water and soft bristle brushes and re-paint the letters in black enamel.

The memorial is dedicated to those who served in World War I and there is a symbol of a cross next to the names of those who died. The inscription reads:

In perpetual honour of Mereworth men who served in the Great War 1914-1918.
