Ecchinswell cross before © ES&BG PC, 2008This war memorial is located in the centre of the village of Ecchinswell, and is opposite the village hall on the main road through the village. The memorial is constructed of granite with lead lettering originally painted black for the inscriptions. It is in the form of a Latin cross on a base and plinth, and commemorates those from World War I and World War II, it is believed to have been originally erected c. 1922.

In 2008 War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £524 towards the cleaning of the memorial as well as the replacement of any missing lead letters which were to be repainted with black enamel paint as the original.
