Coldham WWI memorial plaque © A. L. Stubbs, 2010 St Mark's Church in Friday Bridge is now home to the Coldham World War I plaque which was previously on display in St Ethelreda's Church in Coldham. The Church stands on the main road in the village. The plaque is constructed of brass on a wood backboard.

In 2000 St Ethelreda's was made redundant and a new home for the 3 plaques on display in the Church needed to be found. They were moved to St Mark's Church in the neighbouring village of Friday Bridge. War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £100 towards the costs of moving the memorials and was involved in encouraging the work to take place through one of its Regional Volunteers.

The memorials were re-dedicated on Remembrance Sunday 9th November 2003.

The Coldham World War I memorial records 9 dead of that conflict. The other two memorials moved were Chain Bridge Chapel (WM186) and the Coldham World War II (WM3252) plaques.
