Midhurst war memorial cross © WMT, 2002This memorial stands in the Market Square, Midhurst, near Chichester, West Sussex. It is a Portland stone cross which surmounts a sandstone square pillar and square base. Granite tablets are placed the on two sides of the length of the pillars with inscriptions for World War I. Tablets with World War II names are placed on the base.

War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £1,500 to fund a number of works. These included cleaning the algae and pollution from the stone with water and bristle brushes, re-pointing some joints and re-fixing loose steps.

The memorial was dedicated in 1923.
