RAF Kenley war memorial © M Shorthouse, 2010A freestanding memorial sculpture, the RAF Kenley Tribute, takes the form of an open book. Atop is carved the RAF crest with figures in the central panel representing ground crew, air crew and WRAF. The memorial is in memory of RAF Kenley which played a vital role in both World Wars and all those who served at the base. The memorial is found on Kenley Common, Hayes Lane in Kenley.

The new war memorial received a contribution of £250 from the Small Grant Scheme in 2000.
