Aston war memorial cross stands on a three stepped octagonal base with the inscription on the sides of the pedestal. The memorial stands in the Square in the centre of the village of Aston.
In 2006 a scheme was proposed to provide paved access to the war memorial. This would create a paved area, in front of the memorial, on the village green. This would assist with access to the memorial. War Memorials Trust offered £220 towards the project.
The memorial was dedicated on 28th October 1919 to remember the fallen of World War I with the fallen of World War II added at a later date.
The inscriptions read:
