RAF Booker war memorial © Ceri Jones, 2010RAF Booker was a RAF airfield opened during World War II seeing active service between 1941 and 1955. In 1965 the site became Wycombe Air Park. It is located South West of High Wycombe. The site is now home to a war memorial in memory of the pilots who trained and all who served at RAF Booker betwen 1941 and 1955. The memorial is a 12ft high limestone column which includes a carving of a Tiger Moth propeller and has a plaque to honour the airmen.

In 2000 War Memorials Trust contributed £200 towards the erection of a new memorial to commemorate those who served at RAF Booker.

The memorial was unveiled in September 1999.

The inscription reads:

In memory of
the pilots who trained and all who served at
RAF Booker 1941 - 1955
