South Warnborough war memorial cross stands on Alton road in the village. The inscription is found on the memorial plinth.
In 1999 the local community identified the need for conservation work on the memorial. War Memorials Trust gave £200 to the project. Repairs, including to the damaged column, were undertaken and the memorial was cleaned.
