Catshill war memorial © R Bubb 2009The Catshill memorial is a three-stepped square base surmounted by a pedestal and the figure of a serviceman standing with arms reversed. The inscription is in black lettering on the sides of the pedestal. An additional plaque to record the Second World War fallen has been placed at the foot of the pedestal. Catshill is a village 2 miles from Bromsgrove.

In 1998 it was identified that the war memorial had deteriorated with the names fading, the foundation desteriorating and the marble column suffering from pollution.War Memorials Trust gave £200.00 towards the complete restoration of the marble and granite stonework, the repair of the steps and foundations, the renewal and replacement of gate and fencing, and the restoration of the names.

The inscription on the memorial reads:

Lest we forget
erected to the Glory of God and
to commemorate the supreme sacrifice
of the men of Catshill who gave their
lives in the Great War 1914 1918
