Tisbury war memorial © WMT, 2001Five plaques made of Chilmark stone make up Tisbury war memorial. The plaques are placed on a wall at the back of a raised paved space accessed from the street by four steps. The site is on the main village square.

In 2001, the Small Grants Scheme gave £250 to a comprehensive project on the memorial including the rebuilding of surrounding walls, a new bases for the site, new paving and the refixing of the plaques.

The plaques rememebr those from World War I and World War II and was unveiled in 1954.
