Barlaston war memorial © M Coyle, 2009Barlaston war memorial stands on the village green adjacent to the library. The stone cross has a four stepped base atop of which stand a plinth, shaft and cross.

In 2001 a grant of £150 was made towards repointing work.

The memorial was rededicated at a service on 11th November 2001.

The inscription is inscribed around the plinth and reads:

To the Glory of God and in memory of all who fell in the Great War of MCMXIV-MCMXVIII especially those of this Parish

the names follow underneath with the dates 1939 - 1945 and the names of the Fallen of that conflict beneath.
