Combe war memorial © Combe Parish Council, 2001Combe Parish War Memorial stands on The Green in the village near Witney in Oxfordshire. The memorial cross stands on a large plinth located on a paved area.

In 2001, a Small Grants Scheme award of £75 towards repaving the surround of the memorial to improve safe access.

The inscription on the memorial reads:

To the memory
of the
Men of Coombe
who gave their lives
in the Great Wars
1914 -1918
Greater love hath
no man than this
that a man lay down
his life for his
friends
1939 - 1945
