Glen Parva War Memorial Hall stands on Dorothy Avenue as a memorial to the fallen of World War II. Within the hall a roll of honour is displayed.
In 2001, War Memorials Trust contributed £200 towards a project which completely refurbished the hall to enable it to continue to operate and fulfill its dual functions as a community hall and a means of remembering the sacrifice of the fallen.
The inscription on the dedicatory roll of honour reads:
"Glen Parva War Memorial Hall
This hall was erected
in memory of
Ft. Lieut. G. A. Church D.F.C.
T/Sgt. J. H. W. Hardyman
2nd Lieut. C. L. Hughes
L/Cpl. W. H. Shepherd
L/Cpl. C. J. Wood
1939-1945
They gave their lives that we might live."
