Cottingley war memorial calvary © Anne C. Brook, 2010The Cottingley war memorial is located in the churchyard of St Michael and All Angels at the junction of Bradford Old Road and Cottingley Moor Road. The memorial is a calvary. The timber frame supports the figure of Christ and a bronze plaque at the base carries an inscription and names.

In 2002, a Small Grants Scheme award of £200 was made towards repairs required after vandals tore off and smashed the figure of Christ.

HRH The Prince of Wales was present at the service of rededication for the memorial. However the war memorial was subject to further attacks by vandals in 2003.

The inscription on the plaque reads:
