The Sherwood Foresters, Nottingham war memorial © WMT, 2001St Peter's Church on St Peter's Square in Nottingham is home to a memorial to the Sherwood Foresters. The plaque is located on the south side of the external wall of St Peter's Tower. It refers to the Sherwood Foresters regiment memorial on Crich Hill and carries the regimental badge at its head. The memorial is in a conservation area.

In 2002, War Memorials Trust gave £250 towards works to steam clean the plaque, clean up any areas of corrosion with pencil jet, repatination and the application of a protective coat of wax.

The plaque was originally at street level when the west gate of the churchyard led to Albert Street. It was moved to its current site in 1967.
