Laneham war memorial © WMT, 2002Laneham war memorial stands on Main Street/Broading Lane in a small paved enclosure surrounded by black, wrought iron raillings. The obelisk stands upon a plinth which carries the inscription and names in black lettering.

In 2002, War Memorials Trust contributed £30 to the cost of adding the name of a village soldier who died in World War I. J Rawson's name was omitted originally.

The inscription reads:

"Erected to the
memory of the Men
from this Parish who
entered into rest
having fought the good
fight in the Great War
1914 - 1918"
